After capturing footage it is vital to have a properly tooled post production pipeline in order to manipulate the final results. There is currently a myth that you need an ultra high budget post production finishing station to complete stereoscopic 3d projects. To effectively finish your stereoscopic 3d footage you need to be able to:
- Fast and efficiently transfer, read and write data on to your workstation
- Select the shots you wish to use
- Correct and depth grade the 3D footage
- Create and composite CGI and other footage element
- Edit and colour grade your footage
- Output in to your desired stereoscopic 3D format
- While performing the above tasks view the footage in stereoscopic 3D when required
